Mercer County utilizes formal bidding, request for proposals (RFP), competitive contracting and quotations as methods to procure the best products and services. The vendor qualification process differs for the type and/or service that is being purchased. Formal bids/RFPs are essentially an invitation for all potential vendors and service providers to participate in the bidding process for certain products or services. Mercer’s Procurement Department has updated the way it manages such requests. The “Purchasing and Bids” information topic to which you are currently subscribed on the County of Mercer website will soon be deactivated and will no longer link you to bid opportunities. Instead, you must sign up for bids at the link provided here:
