MERCER COUNTY VETERANS TO OBSERVE MEMORIAL DAY
TRENTON—Mercer County’s annual Memorial Day observance will take place Sunday, May 26, at 11 a.m. in the Veteran Section at Greenwood Cemetery, 1800 Hamilton Ave., Hamilton.
“I encourage everyone to pause during the holiday weekend to honor the men and women of our armed forces who gave their lives protecting our freedom,” said Mercer County Executive Brian M. Hughes. “All are invited to attend the county’s annual remembrance service at Greenwood Cemetery.”
Col. Walter F. Conner, USMC (Ret.), will deliver the keynote address at the event, which is organized each year by the Mercer County Veterans Council and the Division of Veteran Services.
