County to resurface section of Old York Road
TRENTON -- Due to deteriorated pavement surface conditions, Old York Road (County Route 539) between Airport Road and Eastwood Drive in East Windsor Township is scheduled for milling and resurfacing by the Mercer County Department of Transportation & Infrastructure. Work is expected to begin Monday, April 22, with an anticipated completion date of May 3, weather permitting.
Construction will be completed in half-width sections with single-lane, single-direction traffic maintained northbound. A detour will be posted for southbound traffic directing motorists to use Airport Road, Mercer Street/ NJ Route 130, Voelbel Road and Perrineville Road. Construction and partial closure of Old York Road will occur between 9 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday. Normal traffic will resume all other times.
