NEWS: Governor Murphy Unveils AI Tool For State Employees and Training Course For Responsible Use
Governor Phil Murphy, Chief Innovation Officer Dave Cole, and Chief AI Strategist Beth Simone Noveck announced the launch of the NJ AI Assistant, a generative AI-powered platform for New Jersey State employees, along with the roll out of one of the nation’s first comprehensive generative AI training programs for State employees.

AWARD: Business.NJ.gov Marketing Campaign Wins Gold At Drum Awards
The Business.NJ.gov “Success Starts Here” marketing campaign, created by the Office of Innovation’s Communication + Engagement Lab, recently took home gold at the prestigious Drum Awards. By talking to residents, the C+E Lab uncovered a critical insight that changed how the State communicates with businesses driving a 130% increase in users year over year.

NEWS: Office of Innovation and Department of Human Services Launch Disability Information Hub
Chief Innovation Officer Dave Cole joined NJ Human Services Commissioner Sarah Adelman in launching the Disability Information Hub, a one-stop shop to connect New Jerseyans with disabilities, their families, caregivers, and advocates with State services and resources in an accessible format. The Hub was designed for easy navigation with resources organized by a person’s disability and has incorporated direct feedback from residents with disabilities.

NEWS: New Jersey Joins IRS Direct File
In partnership with the US Treasury Department, Governor Phil Murphy announced that New Jersey residents can use Direct File to submit their federal tax returns. Beginning with the 2025 Filing Season, more than 1.3 million New Jerseyans will be eligible to use the free online filing tool.
