Governor Murphy Announces the Launch of New Transgender Information Hub
On International Transgender Day of Visibility, Governor Phil Murphy and Chief Innovation Officer Beth Simone Noveck announced the launch of Transgender.NJ.gov—a new, one-stop hub connecting New Jersey’s transgender and non-binary community with essential information, programs, and services. The site is an example of human-centered design in action: its creation was informed by extensive outreach and engagement with the transgender and non-binary community to better understand the challenges they face.

The Digital Service Network (DSN) is a growing peer learning network based at the Beeck Center for Social Impact + Innovation at Georgetown University that supports digital service teams and professionals who use people, process, and technology to improve government services.

Expanding Partnerships: Designing Missions for Impact
In this 90 minute virtual training led by Christian Bason, CEO of the Danish Design Center (DDC), participants will learn how to forge cross-sector partnerships and engage diverse stakeholders in solving complex social problems. Issues such as climate, mental health, and workforce preparedness – the so-called "wicked problems" – demand a new kind of leadership focused on achieving a sustainable vision of change for a wide range of stakeholders. Participants will learn strategies for setting directions with stakeholders, mobilizing relevant actors, and building internal capacity to solve complex problems and achieve long-term impact.
