Get Grants to Purchase New Equipment for Your Manufacturing Business

Manufacturing

Apply for grants ranging from $7,500 to $250,000 through the upcoming New Jersey Manufacturing Voucher Program (NJMVP). Funding can be used to purchase equipment needed to improve operations. The NJMVP is designed to increase manufacturing production in New Jersey.

Applications are scheduled to open in December. A free hour-long webinar about the program will be held on November 22nd, 2022 at 11:00 a.m.

Child Care Providers: Receive up to $200,000 for Facility Improvements

Child Care Provider

State-licensed, center-based child care providers can apply for up to $200,000 in grants for facilities improvements through the Child Care Facility Improvement Program. Providers may propose interior and exterior facility improvements to enhance the quality of their programs and receive funding to cover the full costs of the project.

Applications will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis while funding remains available.

Child Care Providers: Receive $1,000 Bonus Payments to Hire and Retain Staff

Child Care Retention Bonus

Registered or licensed child care providers can receive $1,000 bonus payments in grant funds to help hire or retain qualified staff through the Hiring and Retention Bonus Grant from the New Jersey Department of Human Services.

Applications are due by December 4th, 2022 at 11:59 p.m.

Get Funding to Test Clean Tech Prototypes

Clean Tech

Clean technology businesses seeking to validate their existing prototypes in a real-world setting can receive up to $250,000 in funding for on-site testing, equipment, licenses, and patent fees with a successful, competitive application to the Pilot Clean Tech Demonstration Program. An informational webinar will be held on November 30th, 2022 at 11:00am.

Applications will open on December 5th, 2022.

New Security Requirements for Some Public Venues Coming in 2023

Safe Building

Starting in mid-2023, sports and entertainment facilities capable of seating more than 5,000 people, theaters capable of seating more than 1,000 people, and places of worship capable of seating more than 500 people will be required to create and maintain an emergency operations plan annually. The emergency operations plan must be submitted to the chief law enforcement officer of the municipality where the facility is located.
