This Week's NJ COVID-19 Updates
Do you have questions about when and where you can receive the COVID-19 vaccine, contact tracing, traveling to or from the State of New Jersey, or even finding a new job? The State of New Jersey offers up-to-date information, resources, and guidance at our COVID-19 Information Hub.
- Beginning Monday, March 1st, New Jersey is allowing large sports and entertainment venues with a fixed seating capacity of 5,000 or more to host events at up to 10% of their indoor capacity, and up to 15% of their outdoor capacity.
- Effective Monday, February 22nd, New Jersey allowed up to two parents and guardians as spectators at collegiate sporting events.
- Effective Monday, February 22nd, New Jersey increased capacity limits for religious services to 50% capacity of the room in which they are held.

As of this week, more than 1.8 million vaccine doses have been administered in New Jersey and more than 1.2 million individuals have received at least one dose.
To get vaccinated, you can:
- See if you are eligible to get the vaccine.
- Register through the NJ Vaccine Scheduling System, and get notified when an appointment is available.
- If you are eligible, you can also schedule an appointment directly with many vaccination sites.

NJ-based small businesses and organizations under 100 employees are eligible to apply for an additional 65% discount on PPE products in addition to the 10% discount available to all businesses and nonprofits. Businesses and organizations that were already approved for the 65% discount in November and December do not need to reapply.

Get Covered New Jersey is the State’s official health insurance marketplace that provides access to the resources and financial help you need to find the right coverage. This year, there is more financial help available than ever before. The enrollment window for health insurance is extended until May 15th, 2021, through a COVID-19 Special Enrollment Period for residents who still need coverage. Enroll by Sunday, February 28th for coverage effective March 1st.

The NJ Department of Health releases a new issue of their vaccine newsletter, Vax Matters, each week. Last Friday’s newsletter highlighted the State’s community-based vaccination partnership and virtual town halls targeted toward New Jersey’s Latinx communities.
