This Week's NJ COVID-19 Updates

As of this week, more than 1.5 million vaccine doses have been administered in New Jersey— more than 1.1 million individuals have received at least one dose. Vaccines are now available to:
- Paid and unpaid healthcare workers
- Residents and workers of long-term care and high-risk congregate care facilities
- First responders including sworn law enforcement and fire professionals
- Individuals over 65 years old
- Individuals aged 16-64 that have certain medical conditions that increase the risk of severe illness from the virus

Last week’s issue included updates on a federal pharmacy partnership with Rite Aid and CVS and information on virtual town halls to address vaccine concerns expressed by communities of color.
