This Week's NJ COVID-19 Updates

To prevent the spread of COVID-19, New Jersey has lowered the limits for indoor and outdoor gatherings:
- General indoor gatherings are limited to 10 people max (effective November 17th)
- General outdoor gatherings are limited to 150 people max (effective November 23rd)
- Exceptions: Weddings, funerals, memorial services, religious and political activities, performances, legislative and judicial proceedings

- Celebrate Thanksgiving with members of your own household only
- If you do gather with other households, keep plans as small as possible
- College students returning home should quarantine for 14 days before interacting with family members and should consider getting tested before leaving campus
- Families are discouraged from taking residents out of long-term care facilities for holiday celebrations

- New Jersey is highly discouraging all non-essential interstate travel given the increased spread of the virus nationwide.
- Vermont was added to New Jersey’s travel advisory this week, bringing the total to 46 states and territories.
