Summer Camps
Registration is now open for Ewing’s Summer Camps. Register and pay by April 10 to receive a 7 percent discount.
Ewing Recreation Summer Camp runs June 29 through Aug. 21 for students entering grades 1–6. Camp is held at the Ewing Senior & Community Center (ESCC), with Fisher Middle School serving as the rain location. Camp hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday. Early care is available from 7:30 to 8:30 a.m., and extended care from 4:30 to 6 p.m.
Teen Travel Camp is open to students entering grades 7–9 and runs June 29 through August 14. Campers may participate in Summer Day Camp during weeks Teen Travel is not in session.

Basketball Camp
Ewing Recreation Shelly Dearden Basketball Camp is scheduled to be held at Ewing High School, from Monday, June 22 to Friday, June 26, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The camp is for kids currently in grades 4 to 8 and will be directed by EHS Boy’s Head Coach Paul Jones and former Head Coach, Shelly Dearden. They will be assisted by other staff members and players. Daily sessions will include work on individual skills, drills, 3 v 3 and full court games, competitions, daily prizes, guest speakers and end of camp championships. Moody Park Summer Basketball League
The Moody Park Summer Basketball League is accepting registration for boys currently in grades 3 to 10. Registration deadline is May 17 and tryouts are May 21. The season starts Monday, June 8. Picnic Area Permits
Ewing Recreations Department is taking applications for 2026 picnic permits at John S. Watson Park on Upper Ferry Road, Higgs Park on Summerset St., Betor Park behind the Municipal Building. Email Nancy Pappano at npappano@ewingnj.org or call the office for more info. 609 883-1776.
Program registration system
Online registration for Ewing Recreation programs and activities is now available through the CivicPlus Recreation Management program. CivicPlus replaces Community Pass.

Community Pools
The Ewing Community Pool System features two pools for seasonal members and daily patrons.
Hollowbrook Pool, located at 320 Hollowbrook Drive, will open on weekends beginning Saturday, May 23, including Memorial Day. Beginning June 16, the pool will operate full time from noon to 8 p.m.
On Saturdays, Hollowbrook Pool is reserved for private parties from 1 to 5 p.m. and open to the public from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday through Friday hours are noon to 8 p.m. To schedule a private event, email Raquel Ince at rince@ewingnj.org.
The ESCC Pool will also open on weekends starting Saturday, May 23, and will operate full time beginning Monday, June 16, from noon to 8 p.m.
Swim lesson evaluations will be held on Saturday, June 13. Space is limited. Senior Swim and Senior Water Aerobics begin Monday, June 16.

Chess Club
Ewing Recreation chess club meets on Wednesday evenings at St. Luke’s Church on Prospect Street. Play is from 6 to 10 p.m. Interested participants are welcome to attend or email Bong at bongortiz@yahoo.com.

Boys & Girls Club Summer Camp Registration
2 Locations: 212 Centre St, Trenton, NJ & 1040 Spruce St, Lawrenceville, NJ
Boys & Girls Clubs of Mercer County Summer Camps run for 10 weeks from June 22, 2026- Aug. 28, 2026. Each week features interactive themes designed to spark curiosity, creativity, and hands on exploration, keeping youth engaged while building new skills along the way. Campers ages 5-14 years-old, participate in art, outdoor education, physical education, STEM, field trips and more. Breakfast and lunch are provided for all campers.

POAC Autism Walk for a Difference 2026 -- Mercer
April 25th at Fisher Middle School (FMS). This annual event supports individuals with disabilities and their families throughout Mercer County.
