Ewing EMS Spreads Holiday Cheer with First Annual Thanksgiving Basket Giveaway
Ewing Township Emergency Medical Services continues to show that their commitment to our community goes far beyond answering emergency calls. This Thanksgiving, our EMS team launched their first annual Thanksgiving Basket Giveaway, an effort created to support Ewing families who could use an extra hand during the holiday season.
Working together, Ewing EMS identified two local families in need and pooled their own resources to assemble complete Thanksgiving baskets -- everything needed for a warm, festive holiday meal. Their compassion and teamwork ensured these families could enjoy the holiday with dignity and joy.
This community effort was made even stronger thanks to the generosity of several partners. Special thanks go to: The Grandmasters Lodge #1 of Ewing Township, Marrazzo’s, FMBA Local 393, the Sista family, the Cheverez family, and Roomana Khan and family. Your support helped make this new tradition a reality.
Ewing EMS has always been there for our residents in moments of crisis, but efforts like this remind us how deeply they care about the well-being of our community every single day. We are grateful for their service, their heart, and their dedication to making Ewing a better place.

We are helping the Township locate a few photos that might be used in the new community center currently being built on Lower Ferry Road.

Additionally, the ETHPS is gathering stories and photos of people who immigrated or migrated to Ewing between 1840 and 1960, for use in a new museum display. Knights of Columbus “Coats for Kids” Program
Ewing Council #3756 is helping to provide warmth to needy young children by participating in the Knights of Columbus “Coats for Kids” program. The goal of the “Coats for Kids” program as well as our goal is to ensure that needy children in our Parishes and surrounding communities will have their own winter coat.
A donation of just $20.00 will purchase one coat and go a long way in reaching our goal. Think about that smile on the children’s faces when they receive a warm winter coat for this winter.
Any business owner (name to appear in Church Bulletin) or parishioner who may also wish to participate should do so by sending a check made payable to the Ewing Knights of Columbus Council 3756 and mail to: Coats for Kids, Knights of Columbus Ewing Council #3756, PO Box 76, Ewing NJ, 08628
