Domestic Violence Awareness Month Display at Hollowbrook
Felicia Brown, Community Outreach Specialist for Younity (formerly known as Womanspace), recently visited Hollowbrook Community Center to unveil a powerful awareness display highlighting the impact of domestic and sexual violence in our communities.
Throughout the month of October, we invite residents to stop by Hollowbrook and explore the display, which features survivor stories, awareness materials, and community resources. The exhibit is part of Younity’s ongoing mission to prevent abuse, protect families, and empower change.
We thank Younity for their advocacy and partnership in bringing these important conversations to the forefront.

Fall Leaf Collection begins soon!
Ewing has a scheduled period of loose leaf collection during the months of November and December to simplify and expedite the process of leaf collection for residents.
Yard waste must be containerized for collection at the curb any time outside this scheduled collection window. November and December are a leaf only period and residents must comply with this policy to ensure the program’s success. Code violations may be issued for containerizing or co-mingling brush & yard waste with loose leaves.
All curbside brush collection will cease beginning:

- 10/27/25 for Zone 1
This will be the last regularly scheduled curbside brush collection until March 2026. Brush, such as branches and trimmings, can be placed at the curb March through October.
