Ewing Mayor Bert H. Steinmann is proud to announce that Ewing Buddy—a new online and mobile reporting tool—is now officially live and available to the public.
Powered by SeeClickFix, Ewing Buddy gives residents a fast, easy way to report non-emergency quality-of-life issues like potholes, streetlight outages, property maintenance problems, and more. Users can submit reports through a smartphone app or directly on the Township’s website at ewingnj.org/ewingbuddy, attaching photos and pinpointing locations to help staff respond efficiently.
“This is about making local government more accessible and responsive,” said Mayor Steinmann. “With Ewing Buddy, we’re giving people a convenient way to let us know what they’re seeing in their neighborhoods—and helping our staff respond quickly, track concerns, and follow through transparently.”
Business Administrator Aaron Watson emphasized the goal of reducing calls, emails, and social media messages by giving residents a streamlined way to reach municipal departments. “Ewing Buddy helps us organize incoming concerns, track repeat issues, and make sure nothing falls through the cracks,” Watson said. “It’s a smarter way to communicate and manage service requests.”
The name “Buddy” reflects the friendly, helpful nature of the tool—because sometimes you just need a buddy to help move an issue forward. The logo features the silhouette of a Labrador Retriever, and the tagline Spot, Click, Fix captures how simple the process can be.
Residents are encouraged to try Ewing Buddy now by visiting ewingnj.org/ewingbuddy or downloading the app from their phone’s app store.
