Ecosystems at Risk: Threatened & Endangered in New Jersey, New Jersey State Museum

As part of the New Jersey State Museum's 130th Anniversary Celebration, guests will enjoy an exclusive preview of the new exhibition "Ecosystems at Risk: Threatened and Endangered in New Jersey," hosted by Dr. Dana Ehret & Julia Vastano, the Museum's Curator and Assistant Curator of Natural History. Don't miss this unique opportunity to meet the curators, hear about the exhibition and celebrate the Museum.

  One if by land, Two if by sea - Paul Revere's Ride - 250th Anniversary Celebration
Friday, April 18, 7:30 p.m.
The Trent House Association will commemorate the 250th anniversary of Paul Revere's ride that alerted Massachusetts militia of British army movements, preparing them for victory at Lexington and Concord. The commemoration will begin with a brief welcoming reception, followed by lighting of lanterns in the cupola of the 1719 William Trent House. The House is located at 15 Market Street, Trenton, New Jersey, with parking available at the rear of the property off William Trent Place.

2nd Annual Hopewell Community Easter Egg Hunt and Pictures with the Easter Bunny. Egg Hunts on the hour 10 a.m. - 1 p.m. Done at 2pm. Complimentary coffee/donuts for adults. Snacks and drinks for kids. $15 donation per child will be graciously accepted.

FoHVOS Stewardship Director Dr. Mike Van Clef will lead a walk through Curlis Lake Woods to discuss the ecological role of the American beech and efforts to combat Beech Leaf Disease.

FoHVOS and MCPC will co-host a volunteer event to plant native trees and shrubs in Curlis Lake Woods. All are welcome to help restore this special forest.
Easter "FunDay"
Family Easter celebration. This year we have something special planned that will take place INSIDE & will require you to choose a time slot to attend the first part of our Easter Story celebration. Please be sure you're whole family is selected on the same time, 10 or 10:30 a.m. Kids can register as "Kids" so we have enough candy/activities & anyone else can register as "Teens/Adults" and we will count you in our food count.

Spring Selects exhibit at Abbott Marshlands
Through May 9, 157 Westcott Avenue, Hamilton.
A special exhibition showcasing the stunning artwork and photography of 15 talented artists who have found inspiration in the diverse beauty of Abbott Marshlands. "Spring Selects" features carefully curated works that capture the essence of this precious ecosystem through multiple artistic perspectives.
