Now’s the time to secure your spot in Ewing’s lineup of fantastic culinary establishments participating in our fourth annual Restaurant Week! We’re inviting you to take part in this exciting event, offering an opportunity to showcase your restaurant and draw in new customers while celebrating the vibrant culinary scene in our town.
This year, we’re encouraging restaurants to offer special discounts on dining to help attract even more Ewing residents. Whether it’s a discount on a signature dish, a percentage off the bill, or a fixed-price menu, we’d love for you to offer something special that gives diners an extra incentive to visit.
The choice is yours. Participate in a way that best suits your restaurant and your menu. Our role is to help promote your offerings and get the word out, driving more traffic to your restaurant throughout the week.
By joining in, you'll be part of a community-wide celebration of our local eateries, and we’ll work hard to make sure the residents of Ewing know where to go for a great meal at a great price! At week’s end, we’ll finish it off tallying a vote by participants for the Best of Ewing Restaurant Week! So, be sure to add your restaurant to the mix! The favorite will be announced at the end of the event.
The deadline for participation is Friday, April 18, 2025. To sign up go to ewingnj.org/restaurant-week.

HUD CDBG 2025 Action Plan and Five-Year Consolidated Plan meeting
Tuesday, March 25, 2025 at 2:00 pm in the Council Room, 2 Jake Garzio Dr., Ewing, NJ.
The purpose of the meeting is to review Ewing Township’s CDBG 2025 Action Plan and Five-Year Consolidated Plan and to solicit public input on the township’s plan to use CDBG funds in the next five years. The Plans present strategies to address the Township's community development and housing needs, including the needs of low and moderate-income persons. In recent years, CDBG funds have been used to improve the community centers.
Township of Ewing anticipates receiving over $235,000 in CDBG funds for the program year beginning July 1, 2025. If less or more is received, an amendment to the plan will not be required.
During the 30-day period starting March 26, 2025 through April 27, 2025 public comments may be submitted in writing to: Ted Forst, Director of Community Affairs, Hollowbrook Community Center, 320 Hollowbrook Dr., Ewing, NJ 08638, or sent by email to tforst@ewingnj.org.
Exciting Park Improvements Planned – We Want Your Input!
Ewing Township is applying for a $4.63 million grant through the National Park Service’s Outdoor Recreation Legacy Partnership Program to fund major improvements to LiMato Field and the Municipal Complex Soccer Fields. PLEASE JOIN US AT TONIGHT'S (March 10) RECREATION COMMISSION MEETING, 7 P.M. AT HOLLOWBROOK CENTER.
The project consists of the conversion of the existing grass football field with synthetic turf at John S Watson Park and the conversion of the two (2) existing grass soccer fields to two (2) synthetic turf soccer fields at the Municipal Complex Park. Improvements consist of the installation of a synthetic turf field with underdrain system, installation of bleachers, soccer nets, scoreboards and drainage improvements. Additionally, green infrastructure and native plants will be added to the fields to promote biodiversity.
Over the next several years, the Township has set out on transforming the landscape of their parks and recreational facilities for the future. This project will be one of the first steps in providing sustainable land development for some of the most frequently used facilities in the area. Therefore, the Outdoor Recreation Legacy Partnership grant is essential for ensuring that these improvements will be effective for a long period of time. (National Park Service Outdoor Recreation Legacy Partnership Grant Application Letter)
As part of the grant process, we are committed to engaging the community every step of the way. There will be multiple opportunities for residents to view project plans, share feedback, and ask questions in the coming months. Your input will help shape the final design and ensure these upgrades best serve our community’s needs.
Stay tuned for upcoming public meetings and other ways to get involved. Send us your comments.
