Happy Thanksgiving!
Dear Ewing Community,
This Thanksgiving, I want to take a moment to thank the people of Ewing for making this community so exceptional. It’s your hard work, generosity, and commitment to each other that keep Ewing strong and vibrant.
As we gear up for the holiday season, the members of our township council and I encourage all our residents to support Ewing’s vibrant local businesses this Small Business Saturday, Nov. 30.
|
Shopping locally not only helps our small business owners thrive but also strengthens our community by keeping dollars circulating right here in town. From unique gifts to dining and services, Ewing’s small businesses offer something for everyone.
Take the opportunity to explore our local shops and show them some love. Your support makes a big difference!
Please be reminded that municipal offices will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 28, and Friday, Nov. 29, for the holiday. Regular hours resume Monday.
Wishing you and your families a safe, happy, and fulfilling Thanksgiving. Enjoy the time with your loved ones, and thank you for all you do for Ewing.
Best, Mayor Bert H. Steinmann

UPDATE
Roundabout construction on Princeton Ave. and Brunswick Circle Extension
We’d like to share some details about a traffic improvement project underway on Ewing's border. Mercer County is partnering with the NJ Department of Transportation to convert the intersection of Princeton Avenue (CR 583) and Brunswick Circle Extension (CR 645) into a modern, single-lane roundabout.
|
Construction, led by Grade Construction, Inc., is set to begin once state approvals are finalized. Variable message boards were installed on Nov. 8 to inform the public of potential traffic impacts, and the project is expected to take about 12 months, divided into four stages.
During construction, traffic will continue along Brunswick Circle Extension and southbound Princeton Avenue. However, northbound Princeton Avenue traffic will detour to the Brunswick Circle for the first three stages, with a truck detour added in stages three and four.
We encourage residents to explore alternative routes during construction to avoid delays. For updates and more details, visit the project page here.
