When the weather turns cold, the annual work of making sausage, scrapple, and bacon gets underway, giving visitors a chance to see the techniques used to make these products...then to taste some of the results! Visitors can lend a hand filling the sausage stuffer and grinding the corn used in scrapple and cornbread recipes, then taste cracklins and other delicacies made in the process. Saturday, Nov. 9 at 10 a.m., the $5 Family Matinee Series continues with a Sci-Fi film from Steven Spielberg that every child should see, E.T! Admission is FREE for members of our nonprofit theater and their kids. Tickets are available now at princetongardentheatre.org/family

About the movie: This cornerstone of ‘80s cinema from director Steven Spielberg has touched the hearts of generations of young moviegoers. Elliot, a lonely kid living in suburban California, comes across a shy alien who has been stranded on Earth. They quickly develop a strong bond of friendship, and Elliott attempts to help E.T. contact his home planet to arrange rescue while also keeping him hidden from the scientists and government agents who are looking for the extra-terrestrial.

Roxey Ballet presents "The Nutcracker" at Villa Victoria Theater
