No payment is required to participate in the lottery.
Please note that Weekday-Only permits allow seven-day beach access outside of peak season—from Jan. 1 to May 18 and Oct. 1 to Dec. 31.
Following each application period, a computerized random selection will be conducted to ensure fairness and transparency. Selected applicants will receive a unique purchase link via email. If payment is not received within the designated period, additional names will be drawn until passes are sold out.
Permit Pickup: Island Beach State Park staff will notify successful applicants via email when their permit is ready for pickup at the park’s gatehouse.
Please note that North Brigantine Natural Area and Corson’s Inlet State Park Mobile Sport Fishing Vehicle Permits — both lower in demand than Island Beach State Park permits — will continue to be sold directly to the public beginning Dec. 1, 2025.
Thank you for your continued interest in mobile sport fishing at Island Beach State Park and for helping us make the permitting process smoother for everyone.
