In recognition of the men and women who worked tirelessly in all aspects of the Central Railroad of New Jersey, Liberty State Park will be unveiling exhibit panels showcasing the employees at work and the parts they played in its history! Come to the Terminal to see these brand-new exhibits and learn a little bit of train history while
you're here!
CNJ EVENT SCHEDULE
10:00 AM - All Aboard! A children's program which includes a discussion about trains and a take home craft. This program is recommended for ages 5 to 10 years old. Pre-registration is required, and all children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the program.
11:30 AM - Unveiling of the Exhibit Panels. Liberty State Park staff, along with CNJ veteran employees Tom Gallo and Bill Strassner, will introduce the new exhibit panels and speak about their subject matter.
1:00 PM - Members of the CNJ Veterans Association will talk about their time working for the CNJ, what their job titles entailed, and spend some time answering questions about their experiences.
Anthony Puzzilla, author of Images of Rail: Central Railroad of New Jersey Terminal, will have copies of his book available for purchase.
Food trucks will be available outside the CRRNJ Terminal throughout the day.
