The NJ-CRC staff now has delegated authority over conditional license applications. These applications will no longer be presented to the Commission Board during public meetings. This adjustment aims to streamline the approval process and reduce the time required to obtain a conditional license. As conditional licenses are approved, they will appear on our website, in emails, and on social media. |

Starting with the first pre-scheduled virtual meeting of the year, which took place on March 18, the Commission will use virtual meetings primarily to consider annual license applications, including conditional-to-annual conversions and license renewals. This ensures timely deliberation on these applications. Please note in-person meetings that are rescheduled to virtual ones will continue with a full agenda.

 Cannabis Consumption Areas
Cannabis consumption areas are coming soon! This means access to places where cannabis users can vibe, relax, and enjoy their favorite, licensed cannabis products--especially if lighting up at home isn't an option. Imagine the ability to sit back and enjoy cannabis responsibly.
Starting April 2, 2025, —including minority-owned, women-owned, and disabled veteran-owned businesses.
Cannabis consumption areas will create a new opportunity for Class 5 Retailer license holders to enhance the consumer experience while boosting industry growth.
