The NJ-CRC will host the last two virtual hearings in February to gather input on how Social Equity Excise Fee (SEEF) funds should be used to benefit New Jersey communities.

The deadline to register to speak for the February 26, 1 p.m., virtual hearing is today, February 24, at 5 p.m. No registration necessary to attend.
Can't attend? You can submit a written comment. The deadline to submit written comments is Friday, February 28, at 5 p.m.
SEEF funds raised from recreational cannabis sales are legislatively required to be used for social equity investments. Some of the most common recommendations to the Legislature include economic and community development, criminal justice reform and reinvestment, workforce development and community services, and public health. Community input taken during SEEF hearings or submitted in writing are presented in a NJ-CRC recommendation report to the Legislature.
