Do you have patients that need preventive care services?
Have you often wondered what you can offer patients for preventive care services that are underinsured, have insurance but has a high deductible or maybe they just have catastrophic coverage?
EWM serves as a payer of last resort. If a patient has insurance, EWM may still help cover remaining costs for preventive screenings or procedures after the insurance has been billed. In some cases, EWM payments can also apply toward a patient’s deductible for high-deductible plans. The exception is for individuals enrolled in Medicaid or Medicare Part B, since those programs already cover these services and EWM would not provide additional support.
