As winter and the holidays approach, have some fun at these Nebraska state park events. They include everything from archery and birdwatching to holiday celebrations:

  • Archery on Fire (Dec. 2, Platte River State Park): Have fun learning all about archery, with equipment and knowledgeable staff provided. Enjoy balloon archery, slingshots, pellet guns and more! See details.
  • Classic Christmas (Dec. 9, Eugene T. Mahoney State Park): Experience a classic Christmas tradition at Mahoney State Park. The day includes a variety of family-friendly activities like holiday crafts, cookie decorating and free portraits with Santa. Learn more.
