Shotgun turkey season opens today, April 15
Are you ready? It's opening day for spring shotgun season, and you don't want to miss it! Round up your friends and plan to get out in the field soon.
A few reminders: Nonresident spring permits were limited to 10,000 in quantity, and they have sold out. Resident permits are still available. And starting with the spring season, all turkey harvests must be reported via Telecheck; it's easy to do online.

Super Tag lottery offers great opportunity
Both Nebraska residents and nonresidents have the opportunity to win a unique permit through the Super Tag lottery. The winner receives tags for one elk of either sex, one antelope of either sex, one deer of either sex and two turkeys (two in the fall season, two in the spring season or one in each season). The permit is good for two years. Learn more online and apply today!
