'Exploring Nebraska's State Parks' to debut March 1
Some of Nebraska’s most scenic, natural and cherished destinations will be spotlighted when “Exploring Nebraska’s State Parks” premieres at 8 p.m. CT on Sunday, March 1 on NET, Nebraska’s PBS & NPR Stations. The program will also be livestreamed on the NET website.
A showing of the program will also be held at Eugene T. Mahoney State Park's Kountze Memorial Theatre at 2 p.m. on March 7. Limited seating is still available by advance registration only. Register online or by calling NET at 402-470-6360. A park entry permit is required.

Duck Slam inspires hunters to spend more time afield
The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission and Ducks Unlimited of Nebraska launched the state’s first Duck Slam in 2019. This challenged hunters to spend more time afield by harvesting four birds — an American wigeon, mallard, northern pintail and a teal – in Nebraska during the 2019-2020 season. Read more.

Flooding featured in March Nebraskaland
Much of Nebraska was devastated by flooding in 2019 and properties owned and managed by the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission were not immune to the damage. The destruction at some of Nebraskans’ favorite parks and wildlands is detailed in a story by regional editor Eric Fowler in the March issue of Nebraskaland Magazine.
