Mark your calendars: the Fort Kearny Outdoor Expo is coming up on Saturday, May 12!

No matter your age or level of experience in outdoor pursuits, if you love being outside, this free event was made for you!

The day is packed with fun activities, including fishing, kayaking, archery, camping, Dutch oven cooking, and more. New attractions this year include a scavenger hunt, an expanded Kids Outdoor Discovery Zone and Timber Tina's lumberjack show.

Other exciting activities include:

A 6,000-gallon aquarium and touch tank
Hunting and fishing demos
Kids' turkey gobbling contest
Climbing wall
Fast draw competition and much, much more.

Hours for the Expo are 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. A Nebraska park entry permit is needed to get into the park, but the event is free to all visitors. To learn more, visit us online.
