Participating Lenders are invited to join NDHFA's Homeownership Division staff for a live, monthly conversation about the agency’s mortgage loan programs. The goal of the discussions is for lenders to become more knowledgeable about the agency's programs, helping them to qualify borrowers more readily for affordable mortgage financing and purchase assistance. Annual Report to HUD available for public review and comment
ND DoC DCS and NDHFA announce that the state’s Annual Report to HUD for the 2021 Action Plan is available for public review and comment during the period of Sept. 7-22, 2022. The plan served as the state’s grant application to HUD for the Community Development Block Grant, HOME Investment Partnerships, Emergency Solutions Grant, and National Housing Trust Fund programs. Housing development and program assistance application deadline
NDHFA is currently accepting applications for affordable rental housing development assistance and funding for homeownership and rental assistance programs for low-income households. The deadline for 2022-funded HOME Investment Partnerships, Low Income Housing Tax Credit and the National Housing Trust Fund applications is Sept. 30. READ MORE

Statewide Housing Needs Assessment is forum focus
NDHFA’s Statewide Housing Forum will feature an overview of the 2020-25 Statewide Housing Needs Assessment followed by panel discussions providing perspective on housing trends and policy solutions to make single and multifamily housing more accessible. The 2022 Main Street ND Summit agenda is now available per a ND DoC announcement. This year’s summit, which will be held Oct. 25-26 at the Bismarck Event Center, will be free for all attendees.
