CACFP Training Registration is Still Open!
Mandatory Annual CACFP Training: To fulfill the CACFP annual training requirements, each facility needs one representative to attend.
This year, administrative and food service sessions will be combined, with a shortened training time overall. The content will remain the same across all sessions.
Training Details:

Time: 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. (Lunch on your own from 12 p.m. - 1 p.m.)

Registration: Starts at 9:30 a.m.
- Each day's session covers the same content.

**Remember to use the most recent income guidelines when determining new applications (starting after July 1).
The Letter to Households must be provided yearly, along with the Annual Enrollment Form.

Create Art with Overripe Produce!
Instead of tossing fruits and vegetables that are past their prime, turn them into a fun and eco-friendly art activity! Many types of produce such as orange peels, citrus slices, lettuce leaves and mashed berries can be used to create colorful artwork. 🍊🎨🥬

Let's finish strong this May with beef! May is BEEF MONTH! There are yummy ways to incorporate this tasty, protein-packed food source in your meals this month. Here are resources that include CACFP creditable recipes and recipes you can enjoy at home from the ND Beef Commission.

Thursday, April 24, Amanda Olson (Farm to ECE Specialist) hosted Session 1 of the Farm to School and Child Care Garden webinar series. The slide deck and recording are available for anyone interested. These sessions aren’t mandatory; they are just available to provide extra technical assistance if you are looking at starting or need help sustaining a garden.
