Therap’s homepage is getting a new look. The tools and features you use now will stay the same, but they will be organized in a new way to make them easier to find. A new “favorites” feature will let you save the tools you use most so you can access them quickly in one tab.
Right now, you can switch back and forth between the old and new homepage to get used to the new layout. After Jan. 1, 2026, the old homepage will no longer be available. Check out the screenshots below to see how to use the “switch homepage” option.
- Therap has shared a guide that shows where to find all the different modules on the new homepage.
- Therap has shared a homepage and favorites overview.
The SFN 750/749 competency is required to stay active as a QSP. You must have this competency to bill for services. If your competency expires, your QSP status will be closed. If your status is closed, you cannot bill for any services performed during that time.
It’s important to watch for revalidation reminders in your email and web portal. Make sure to complete your revalidation on time so your account stays active. Multiple reminders will be sent as your revalidation date approaches, so check your email often.
Adult and Aging Services is excited to share new updates that make using Direct Care Careers (Connect to Care) and the QSP Registry faster and easier. The DCC team has worked hard to fix issues and improve the overall experience.

-
New sorting options: You can now sort the QSP Registry by agency or individual, making it easier to find what you need.

Aging Services staff cannot sign off on certified nurse aide (CNA) renewal paperwork. Individual QSPs can still use their CNA certification to meet QSP requirements if certain criteria is met.
The North Dakota Health Facilities Unit requires that a CNA must have performed nursing or nursing-related services for pay under the direction of a licensed nurse for at least eight hours in the past 24 months.
Renewal instructions (per the North Dakota Health Facilities Unit):
- If you have a Medication Aide Registry, Home Health Aide Registry or Nurse Aide Registry, use the appropriate renewal form. The nurse that directs your work can sign the form for you:
-
You can verify your registry using the ND verification site.
-
No fee is required for CNA renewal.
Eligibility requirements:
-
CNAs who have not performed at least eight hours of nursing or nursing-related services for pay in the past 24 months are not eligible for renewal and must complete a new competency evaluation.
-
Services must be performed under the direction of a licensed nurse.
Employer page guidelines:
-
If currently employed, your employer must be in North Dakota (out-of-state employers are not accepted).
-
If unemployed but performed nursing-related services in North Dakota during your certification period, list that employer as a past employer (out-of-state employers are not accepted).
Personal background history:
-
If you answered “Yes” to any questions, include an explanation and any required documentation.
-
If you cannot provide a copy of a criminal judgment, explain why in your submission.
For QSPs without a recent employer:
-
If you do not have an employer in the past 24 months to verify competency, follow the options provided by the Health Facilities Unit to complete your CNA renewal. CNAs are responsible for completing this verification.
The Health Facilities Unit reviews and approves all certified nurse aide training programs in North Dakota.
