Tourism Manifesto
By Tourism and Marketing Director Sara Otte Coleman
We believe North Dakota is a special place – filled with dramatic beauty and understated landscapes.
Our big skies, wide-angle views and sunsets can take your breath away.
The stories of our heritage, land and innovation are true and genuine.
Our people are well-meaning, genuinely friendly, and humble.
They are the soul of our stories and they are proud they chose North Dakota as their home to work, to play, and build community.
They nurture the land, their friends, and family and strive to live and share the good life.
Our rolling plains, valleys and badlands are an outdoor playground for activity or reflection.
Our communities, large and small, provide engaging entertainment and opportunity.
We strive to do more than disseminating pretty pictures and posts.
We seek to invite visitors to come and escape their daily routines, to experience our unique culture and come away changed, with a fresh and positive image of North Dakota!
