This is a new way for us to communicate with you directly -- no Facebook feed, no need to have a Twitter or Instagram account, no dues or subscriptions. You won't have to prove you're not a robot. You won't get a text to two-party verify your email address.
We have wanted a way to share information with you about anything that's interesting or new going on with the city. If we have softball registrations or a sidewalk project or a spring outdoor movie, we will tell you about it here. We will let you know if anything interesting happened at the City Council meeting.
And communications is a two-way street. We will be asking your opinions, and we will give you other ways to give us feedback. So please read these emails and if you find them valuable, encourage others to sign up. We plan to do them twice a month or so.
