Options to Redeem Your Treat Certificate
Redeem your treat certificate by Wednesday, April 1. Click here to view your options for redeeming your certificate at the business or at one of the scheduled visits at a County building. On-site offerings for this week:
- Gingham Girl Cake Rolls will be in the Government Center's Stony D. Rushing Conference Meeting Room on the first floor, today, Monday, March 23, 11 a.m.-12:30 p.m.

Patty & The Dogs will be at Human Services tomorrow, Tuesday, March 24, 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m., outside near the ground-floor employee entrance.

Tacos Al Tiburon food truck will be at the Water Operations Center tomorrow, Tuesday, March 24, 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m. outside near the employee entrance. The menu is available to view here.
Have you already redeemed your certificate? You can still take advantage of the on-site offerings, as the vendors will accept personal payment methods.

Procurement and Contract Management Earns 10th Straight Purchasing Award
Congratulations to the Procurement and Contract Management Department, led by Corey Brooks, on receiving the 2025 Sustained Professional Purchasing Award from the North Carolina Association of Governmental Purchasing for its consistent excellence and transparency in purchasing.
The Board of County Commissioners recently recognized the team's accomplishment, which they have achieved for 10 years in a row. Read the story to learn more about this accomplishment.

Watch Our New Phone System Training Video
In Case You Missed It: Online Phone System Help Sessions Are Available
The new Camp Store is opening at Cane Creek Park! Join Parks and Recreation for an Employee Drop-in Event on Thursday, April 2, from noon to 2 p.m. at the Camp Store.
The new store offers campers convenient access to snacks and camping essentials, while creating opportunities to expand merchandise and increase revenue over time. A big thank you to all departments and employees who have been a part of this project. The employee preview will provide an opportunity to see the brand new Camp Store along with the features it will offer. Light refreshments will be provided.
