The attendance check-in/check-out system revisions (attendance code changes) in NCSIS previously communicated for the 2026–2027 school year will not go into effect on July 1, 2026.
At this time, no changes are being implemented to the current attendance check-in/check-out procedures. Additional guidance and implementation timelines will be communicated as needed.
Please ensure that the correct number of present minutes is entered whenever checking a student in or out, including when using present attendance codes such as 1P.
Please continue following existing attendance procedures until further notice.
