Supplemental Allotment from Grant Year 2025 Funds
Subgrantees may have noticed a small supplemental allotment recently deposited in your ERaCA account (for non-LEAs) or in the Allotment system (for PSUs/LEAs). This supplemental allotment consists of unspent Grant Year 2025 funds from USED that are able to be redistributed to eligible subgrantees, including Cohort 17 subgrantees and Cohort 16 subgrantees who were awarded a Cohort 18 grant. Please note because these funds are from Grant Year 2025, Cohort 18 subgrantees who were not previously Cohort 16 are not eligible to receive this supplemental allotment.
To ensure proper utilization of these funds, please follow the guidance below based on your subgrantee type:
For Non-LEAs (ERaCA Users)
When entering reimbursement requests in ERaCA:
-
Please pay close attention to the Grant Year radio button selection, as subgrantees may now have both Grant Year 2025 and Grant Year 2026 funds.
-
Select the Grant Year 2025 radio button until all GY25 funds are exhausted.
-
Once all GY25 funds have been exhausted, you may begin requesting GY26 funds by selecting the corresponding 2026 radio button.
-
If you have already fully expended your original GY25 allotment and began requesting GY26 funds, you must change your Grant Year radio button selection to 2025 until you have exhausted all GY25 funds, including this supplemental amount, before resuming requests from Grant Year 2026.
Please note: The ERaCA system may not always allow requests for the exact remaining balance of Available to Draw (ATD) funds. If this occurs, you may need to adjust your request to leave a $0.01 balance in the ATD field.
For LEAs (BAAS/LINQ Users)
-
LEAs must submit a budget amendment using Grant Year 2025 coding in BAAS/LINQ to incorporate the supplemental Grant Year 2025 funds received.
-
When drawing down funds, ensure that all Grant Year 2025 funds are spent first before accessing any Grant Year 2026 funds.
If you have questions about this supplemental allotment or need assistance with proper coding or drawdown procedures, please contact your assigned fiscal monitor.
