Melanie Rackley, OCS Consultant, introduced the 2025 charter applicants and outlined legislation and timelines related to the application process. The applicants and their outcomes were as follows:

Bruce Friend, Pine Springs Preparatory Academy Superintendent, introduced staff members who spent time in Tanzania supporting schools. They shared their experience and insights along with ways they hope to continue involvement with schools in Tanzania moving forward.
Jenna Cook, OCS Consultant, outlined legislation and timelines related to the charter school renewal process. Voting on renewal terms will occur in February and March of 2026. The following charter schools seeking renewal in 2026 participated in their renewal interviews:

Ashley Logue, OCS Director, facilitated a discussion regarding revisions to the Minimum Requirements to Open for schools in the Ready to Open (RTO) process. CSRB will review and provide feedback for a possible vote in December. Mrs. Logue also provided an update on the current RTO cohort.
