November 21, 2025
The November 21 Checkpoint date for schools on a traditional calendar is fast approaching. Now is a good time to encourage teachers to begin the process of completing and finalizing Checkpoints. You can access the Administrator Assessment Status Report under the “Report” section in the SmartTeach platform.

The Office of Accountability & Testing will send each PSU their DIBELS 8 BOY data in two separate files to PSU Accountability & Testing Directors/Testing Coordinators by Monday, November 10 and will notify them of the transfer. Once the data is transferred, RtA POCs will be notified by the Office of Early Learning with information about retrieving the files and directions for reviewing the data. A link to a response form will be included. RTA POCs will be asked to review their data and notify the Office of Early Learning regarding the accuracy of the data using a form linked in the notification email. If any inaccuracies are reported, your Office of Early Learning consultant will work with you and the Office of Early Learning Project Manager to resolve the discrepancies.

Navigation: Menu > Student Information > State Programs > Read to Achieve
Select a Student: If a student is not selected, click Open Student Search tool to search by the student's name. Search for students using advanced searches or Ad Hoc Filters as needed. Select the student's name to open the Read to Achieve Program tool. If a student was already selected, the Read to Achieve Program tool will open automatically.
- Click View on the Read to Achieve program to open the program information.
- Enter the End Date in MM/DD/YYYY format or click the calendar icon to select the date. This should be the date that the student attained proficiency. In this situation, the date should be on or before November 1.
