RALEIGH – State Superintendent Maurice “Mo” Green’s strategic plan regional tour in collaboration with the State Board of Education is coming to all eight regions of North Carolina this September and October with a virtual option in November.
Green is sharing more about the strategic plan, Achieving Educational Excellence, with community stakeholders statewide through the eight regional public events listed below and one virtual session. All parents, students, educators, school and district staff, public officials and other community members are invited to attend.

Thursday, Sept. 25, 5:30 p.m. – Northeast Region – South Central High School (Winterville, Pitt County Schools)

Friday, Sept. 26, 5:30 p.m. – Southeast Region – Eastern North Carolina Regional Skills Center (Jacksonville, Onslow County Schools)

Monday, Sept. 29, 6 p.m. – Sandhills Region – Lumberton High School (Lumberton, Public Schools of Robeson County)

Registration for the regional tour stops is free and available at the URLs listed above. While not required, registration is strongly encouraged as some venues may reach capacity.
