This afternoon, Superintendent Mo Green and North Carolina Attorney General Jeff Jackson announced that North Carolina will join 25 other states in suing the United States Department of Education for freezing federal education funds previously promised to North Carolina schools.
We anticipate that this announcement may generate local, state and national media interest, and we want to ensure you're well prepared to engage with any inquiries. We recommend connecting with your superintendent to align on your district's messaging.
