WIDA Seeking Panelists for their Upcoming ACCESS Standard Setting
Over the past few years, WIDA has been revising ACCESS and Kindergarten ACCESS to align with the WIDA ELD Standards Framework, 2020 Edition. As part of this ongoing work, WIDA will conduct a standard setting following the first annual administration of the revised assessments. This event is scheduled for July 27–31, 2026, in Boston, MA.
WIDA is seeking educators from across the WIDA Consortium to serve as panelists. Panelists and other experts will meet in person to help determine proficiency level scores and set cut scores for WIDA ACCESS.
Each selected panelist will receive a $1,200 stipend for their participation. WIDA will also cover travel and lodging expenses, and provide per diem for meals not provided during the event.
WIDA has asked each state to identify qualified candidates who reflect the demographic makeup of multilingual learners in their region.
If you are interested in being considered as a panelist, please complete this Interest Form. The ML/Title III team will review all submissions and forward qualified candidates to WIDA for final selection.
