Submit a GLE Student Spotlight Form
To promote the achievements of North Carolina students who are earning NC's Seal of Biliteracy, the Global Languages Endorsement (GLE), the NCDPI GLE Team would like to share their stories and the different ways this recognition is celebrated locally.

The GLE Student Spotlight Survey is accepting submissions, which are welcome from all Public School Units (PSUs), or districts and charter schools. Please click on the embedded link above or on the GLE Student Spotlight to access the submission form, which is also available at go.ncdpi.gov/NCSoBLGLEstudent or by using the QR code in this newsletter.

GLE at the State Board of Education Meeting
|
The North Carolina State Board of Education (SBE) meeting on March 5, 2025, featured a presentation on Global Education, including details about the Global Languages Endorsement (GLE), North Carolina's Seal of Biliteracy, and its impact since it began with the Class of 2015.
Feel free to view the GLE portion of the SBE recording, which starts at 26:22, and learn more about how many graduating seniors have earned this diploma endorsement, which languages have been recognized so far, and where North Carolina is nationally with the Seal of Biliteracy initiative.
