Mr. Dave Machado announced his resignation from the CSRB in order to pursue other opportunities. Board members and the Office of Charter School's staff thanked Mr. Machado for his service and significant contribution to the North Carolina charter school landscape.
2025 Charter Application Revisions - Ms. Melanie Rackley reviewed proposed revisions to the 2025 charter application. CSRB voted to keep the current charter application for the 2024 cycle in order to receive stakeholder input on the proposed changes.
2025 Charter School Renewal Business Report - Ms. Jennifer Bennett, Senior Director of School Business, provided CSRB with financial updates related to schools in the 2025 renewal cohort.
