Active LETRS® License Portability
With Amendment 4 to the Lexia contract, active online course licenses are now portable. When a North Carolina educator moves from one North Carolina school district or NC Pre-K program to another North Carolina school district or NC Pre-K program, the license will remain assigned to the enrolled participant. The participant will need to complete a License Data Release Form requesting to transfer their LETRS data from one school district or NC Pre-K Program to another and email it to support@lexialearning.com. As long as the form is submitted to Lexia and approved, the receiving district will no longer be required to purchase a new license. If a course license has expired before the online course work has been completed, the district will need to purchase an extension.
Lexia LETRS® Support
All Lexia LETRS support questions should now be directed to this email: support@lexialearning.com. (Lexia has closed the dedicated NC email (nc@voyagersopris.com).
Language in the LETRS Sustainability Guide on page 25 has been updated to reflect this update.
Also, there is a wealth of information for Course Managers on the Lexia Help Center website.

4th and 5th Grade mCLASS® Update
The amendment to the Amplify contract is in the procurement process. We anticipate rostering will begin this month.
Consider a DIBELS® 8 Administration/Scoring Refresher
As the MOY benchmark window approaches please consider if there are opportunities to refresh assessors on the administration and scoring of DIBELS 8. For data to be the most useful, the assessments are to be administered in a standardized way. In order to achieve this end, make plans now to offer refreshers for teachers and anyone else who will be involved in assessing students when the window opens in your district. If you need assistance in planning for a refresh, reach out to your district Early Literacy Specialist, and/or your OEL Regional Consultant.
