RefReps
RefReps would like to make you aware of an exciting opportunity for students to learn employability skills, through Physical Education, while helping positively impact the sports officiating shortage. RefReps (www.refreps.com), provides a comprehensive Sports Officiating Education curriculum, training materials, and additional resources for many different sports.
RefReps curriculum is designed specifically for sports officiating to be taught in a high school classroom setting, often through physical education. At present, over 750 high schools across 43 states are actively utilizing this curriculum to offer an academically rigorous sports officiating learning opportunity to high school students, while providing immediate benefits to students, schools, and sports community.
There is enthusiasm across the country for this educational opportunity. States understand the urgent need to act, and are looking to their member schools to support an effort to infuse youth into the officiating avocation.
Should you choose to take advantage of this opportunity to pilot this class and utilize the RefReps curriculum, there would be a cost involved to your school. RefReps does have many suggestions to help with funding the cost of these materials. Your support as a partner school will help us further develop this offering for schools across the state!
