Please help us spread the word! Students are encouraged to submit their simplified applications during College Application Week, October 21-27, 2024, when most NC colleges and universities waive application fees. With the exception of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro, all institutions participating in NC College Connect are waiving their application fees as a part of College Application Week.
CFNC is working diligently to provide additional resources and programs in the coming months for students impacted by Hurricane Helene. Some students may still apply to college this month as planned, and others may need to alter plans. Resources will be available at CFNC.org throughout the Countdown to College kick-off month of October, but this information will also be available all year long to help students and families navigate the college-going process when the time is right.
As a reminder, NC College Connect is led by the UNC System, in partnership with the NC Department of Public Instruction, the North Carolina State Education Assistance Authority, GEAR UP North Carolina, the NC Community College System and the Office of the Governor. Full eligibilty requirements and a list of participating institutions are available at NCCollegeConnect.org.
