Messenger with Voice

The Remote Dial-In tool is available to PSUs who already use Messenger with Voice functionality. This tool allows an emergency message to be sent without using the Campus application. Instead, the person sending the message calls a Shoutpoint phone number and follows the telephone prompts to create and deliver the message.

The following setup is required for Remote Dial-In capabilities:

• Remote Dial-In functionality requires that the district already use Campus Messenger with Voice and complete the setup steps listed above.
• The district must request Remote Dial-In functionality and it must be enabled by Infinite Campus Hosting staff.
• The person sending the message must have access to a phone and have the Shoutpoint Remote Dial-In phone number/password readily available.

PMR Update

NCSIS PMR Update for Infinite Campus Phase I Schools

NCDPI PMR (Principals Monthly Report) is available in NCSIS for Phase I schools to generate. To assist you in reviewing the report, please refer to the linked Infinite Campus Knowledge Base article below.

The PMR can only be generated once all the PMR fatal validations are cleared. The PMR validations can be found in the data validation reports under Reporting. Once the FATAL validations are clear, the PMR Summary and PMR Detail reports can be generated and viewed on the screen or downloaded.

PMR Validation reports don’t look at a specific window or range, but at all dates in all calendars for the school.  

Current Issues and Expected Resolution

FATAL-08 - The validation is not correctly using the Year-Round Transfer Days Override field in calculating a student’s membership days.  This is expected to be fixed by 10/14/2024.

FATAL-10 - currently looking at Partial Enrollments as well as Primary Enrollments.  Fix expected next week.

FATAL-29 - was originally expecting the teacher entered tardies, or “Gold Ts” to be reconciled.  FIXED.  Any tardy recorded by a teacher because a student was late to class does not need to be reconciled.  Only students late to school must have a 1L or 2L code and the present minutes populated correctly.

FATAL-29,30 - was originally looking at the current day for unreconciled attendance.  FIXED. These errors are now looking at days prior to the day the validation report is run.

Please submit your PMR Month 1 as soon as you can clear all FATAL validations and validate the data in your PMR Month 1. It is important to diligently work on the report and submit as soon as possible.
