PRC Closeout Reminders
ESSER III ends today, September 30th, 2024. All funding must be encumbered by September 30th, 2024 and liquidated by December 30th, 2024. If you have any questions about encumbrances, liquidations, and/or pre-payments, please refer to the updated Federal Fiscal Obligations, Liquidations, and Reversion FAQs.

Budget Contacts for PRC 188 and 189
Any questions regarding PRC 188 and 189 funds should be directed to the Office of Federal Programs' Section Chief- Consolidated Programs, Timothy Dryman, at tim.dryman@dpi.nc.gov.
Data Collection Reminders
As a reminder, PSUs are responsible for enrolling students in PRC 188 and 189 programs in Powerschool during the 23-24 school year. Please utilize the HomeBase Quick Reference Guide if you have not yet enrolled students. Although OLR will sunset after September 30th, these data will still be used as the Department continues to examine the impact of the school extension programs funded by ESSER.
Due dates for data entry are as follows:
- PRC 189- Afterschool Academic Enrichment Programs: June 30, 2024
- PRC 188- Summer Career Accelerator: August 31, 2024
Although the due dates have passed, we are still able to accept data until October 15th, 2024. Please ensure that you have submitted student participation information and completed the required surveys outlined on the SU'24 Data Collection Guidance.
Phase I Schools & Districts for Infinite Campus Transition
If you are a Phase I PSU, and did not enter all PRC 189 (Afterschool Academic Enrichment Programs) or PRC 188 (Summer Career Accelerator) enrollments into PowerSchool before the transition to Infinite Campus, please upload the student attendance and participation spreadsheet into the eMFTS server as you have done in years past no later than October 15th.
Once you have uploaded the spreadsheet to the server, please notify Jay Johnson at jay.johnson@dpi.nc.gov.

Save the Date: NC Teacher Working Conditions Survey Dashboard Session at AIM
NCDPI will review the *NEW* NC Teacher Working Conditions Survey (NC TWC) Interactive Dashboard AND Interpretation and Action Guide at a special concurrent at the AIM Conference at 8:45am on October 9. Participants will access these new resources to explore and use their local data in new ways. Available on the Resources Page of NC TWC Website starting October 3.
