Cybersecurity Pilot Program Support Updates

We are excited to share some important updates about PSU support for the new FCC Cybersecurity Pilot program.

1. The NCDPI PSU Cybersecurity and School Connectivity teams, in partnership with the Friday Institute, created the NC guidance document for the new FCC Cybersecurity Pilot Program. This document will be updated as necessary during the application window.

2. On September 13, 2024, NCDPI hosted E-Rate Central to discuss the specifics of the new FCC Cybersecurity program and application process. Use the links below to access the recording and slides.

2024 E-Rate Boot Camp

The School Connectivity team will be having an E-Rate Boot Camp this fall. This two-and-a-half-day training is a hands-on deep dive into the E-Rate program for PSUs of all experience levels. Below are the links to register via Eventbrite.

School Connectivity Town Hall Series New for the 2024-25 school year, the School Connectivity team will host monthly Town Halls. The first 30 minutes will be a PD on that month's topic, followed by an open Q&A on all things E-Rate. Upcoming USAC Office Hours

USAC will host a series of office hours sessions where applicants can ask application-related questions and receive answers from USAC staff. USAC will not present new Pilot Program information during these sessions. Each office hour session will be targeted to specific applicant audiences and will have limited registration spots available. To allow all applicants an opportunity to have their questions answered, please only register for one office hours session, and please register for the session that reflects your entity type.
