ELD Mapping Document Updated with the 2023 Science SCOS!

The ML/Title III Team and the Science Team at NCDPI have combined forces to bring you the updated Mapping Document. This document is designed to support educators in weaving the ELD standards into the 2023 version of the NC Science Standard Course of Study to effectively support MLs.

AIM Conference

The 2024 AIM Conference will be held on Oct. 7-9, 2024 at the Raleigh Convention Center.  This agency-wide event is an excellent opportunity to share your expertise with the field. This year’s conference supports public school units as they plan for and implement the Portrait of a Graduate.

All sessions will be 1 hour & 15 minutes.  See the 2024 AIM DRAFT Agenda.

 

Aim

Submit proposals through the 2024 AIM Call for Proposals form.  In an effort to assist you with the completion of the Call for Proposal, you may want to complete a 2024 AIM Conference Call for Proposals Worksheet.   

 

The proposal window will be open through June 30, 2024.  Individuals selected for presentation will be notified of acceptance status by July 12, 2024.  

 

If you submit a proposal and it is accepted, registration fees for the lead presenter will be complimentary

The SPML is a team of experts from across the state who work with the NCDPI's ML/Title III team to develop projects, comprehensive guidance, and other critical tasks to promote equitable access for Multilingual Learners (MLs) in North Carolina.
