Revision Phase Progress
Moving from Draft 2 to Draft 3
The NCDPI World Languages team appreciates everyone who provided their input and comments on Draft 2 of the proposed K-12 World Language academic standards. The Draft 2 data was compiled by NCDPI's Office of Learning Recovery (OLR) and analyzed by the World Languages Data Review Committee (DRC) when they met last week. The DRC's Data Report for Draft 2 with recommendations to inform Draft 3 will be shared with the Standards Writing Team (SWT) when they meet in mid-April.
Draft 3 is on-track to be done in May so that it can be presented to the State Board of Education for discussion at the monthly meeting on June 5 - 6, 2024.
