Join us to be trained in how to deliver professional development in your county on the Gizella Abramson Holocaust Education Act and the resources that have been developed by the NC Department of Public Instruction in partnership with the North Carolina Council on the Holocaust. Substitutes are provided for teachers, lunch will be provided for all participants, and a Holocaust survivor will speak at each workshop. Each school system can bring up to four people:
- Two district curriculum leaders such as ELA and Social Studies curriculum supervisors.
- Two teachers: one middle school and one high school teacher. One of the teachers should be a Social Studies teacher and the other one should be an ELA teacher.
